Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

2 Killed When Teenage Girl Crashes Stolen Jeep In Princeton Two people were killed when a 15-year-old driver from Newark crashed a stolen Jeep in Mercer County, authorities said. The driver of the Jeep also left her  teenage passenger critically hurt in Sunday's head-on crash in Princeton.  Jodi Marcou, 61, of the Kendall Park section of South Brunswick, and the teen driver of the Jeep were pronounced dead at the scene, according to Princeton police. Melissa M. Craden of Scotch Plains was traveling northbound on the Parkway in Woodbridge at 3:10 p.m. Saturday when her 2009 Jeep Liberty sideswiped another vehicle near milepost 131.9, a New Jersey State Police spokesman said. Body Recovered In Monmouth Cove Marina A body was recovered from a bay in Central Jersey, authorities said. The body was brought into Monmouth Cove Marina along Port Monmouth Road in Middletown at about 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, reports said. New Jersey State Trooper Charles Marchan confirmed that  troopers were dispatched to  Monmouth Marina and a male body was recovered. "This remains under investigation and there is no additional information available at the moment," Marchan said on Sunday afternoon. The U.S. Coast Guard also was notified, reports said.
