I-95 Bridge Crash Causing 5 Miles Of Backups In Fairfax County A crash on I-95 caused five miles of backups Tuesday morning, April 23. The crash happened at mile marker 177.9 on the southbound side along the Woodrow Wilson Bridge in Fairfax County just outside of Alexandria, according to the VDOT site. As of 9:15 a.m., the south left shoulder, left lane, and center lane are closed.

The man was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead. No further information was released.

The victim was walking near Fairmount Avenue and Anvil Drive between 11:30 p.m. Friday, April 19 and 12:30 a.m. Saturday, April 20, when she was grabbed by a complete stranger, Prince William County police said.
