Two Lodi Stores Sell Winning Lottery Tickets In One Week
Bergen County lottery players cashed in big in the last week, taking home tens of thousands of dollars in winnings, state officials said.
Three prizes of $20,000 or more were claimed at retailers in Lodi and Ridgefield Park between July 28 and Aug. 3, 2025, according to the New Jersey Lottery.
The wins include:

The man killed overnight in Lodi was trying to break into the home he lived in when he was shot by someone inside, authorities said.
Amr Ali, 33, was a tenant living in the basement of the Girabaldi home, and was trying to force his way through the front door using a spear-type object around 11 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 3, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
After that failed, Ali attempted to break in through a window, the prosecutor said.

A North Jersey wrestling coach was identified by Daily Voice sources as the motorcyclist killed in a Bergen County crash late last week.
Frank Fea, 24, of Middletown, NY, died following a crash at the intersection of Pascack Road and West Hill Road in Woodcliff Lake on Friday, Aug. 1, according to sources familiar with the incident.
Fea served as an assistant wrestling coach at Don Bosco Prep from 2022 to 2023, the school’s website says. He previously wrestled for Goshen High School and Castleton University.

Motorcyclist Killed In Friday Afternoon Woodcliff Lake Crash, Officials Say
A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Bergen County on Friday afternoon, August 1, authorities said.
The accident occurred around 4:51 p.m. on Pascack Road in Woodcliff Lake, near the intersection of West Hill Road, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office's Deputy Chief of Detectives, Jeff Angermeyer.
Responding officers from Woodcliff Lake, along with local EMS and police from surrounding towns, arrived to find a motorcyclist critically injured. Despite life-saving efforts, the rider was pronounced dead at the scene, Angermeyer said.
