Barbara Barrie Dies: Versatile Actress' Many Roles Spanned Movies, TV, Broadway Barbara Barrie, a versatile actress whose career carried her from Broadway to familiar television living rooms, has died, according to multiple reports. Barrie died in New York City on Wednesday, Oct. 28, at her Manhattan home. She was 95.
