Police Officers Crash Into Each Other Responding To Call In Eastern Mass Two Middlesex County police officers were taken to area hospitals Thursday, Aug. 5, after crashing into one other.  Wilmington police were responding to a call when the cruisers crashed just after noon at the intersection of High Street and Linda Road, authorities said. Both cruisers were marked.  Initial investigation shows that one officer slammed into the rear end of the other's cruiser. 1 Man Killed, Another Injured In Eastern Mass Attack Police in Norfolk County are investigating a late Wednesday night, Aug. 2, attack that left one man dead and another person injured, authorities said.  Marlborough police received a 911 call just after 10:30 p.m. about a fight inside an apartment at  Stone Gate Apartments on St. Ives Way, authorities said.  Police found a 45-year-old man inside the home with severe injuries. Body Found In Boston Park; Police Investigating Massachusetts State Police are investigating after a man's body was found unattended in a park in Boston.  Troopers were called to Richardson Park at 735 Columbia Road around 8:45 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 3.  Authorities have not released much information about the discovery but said investigators would examine the remains to determine the circumstances leading to his death.  This is a developing story. Woman Embezzled $1.3M From Eastern Mass Business: Police A 36-year-old Norfolk County woman was arrested on Wednesday, Aug. 2, and charged with stealing $1.3 million from her former employer, authorities said. Ashley Sumner, of Weymouth, is charged with larceny over $1,200, two counts of improper use of a credit card over $1,200, four counts of identity fraud, and one count of money laundering, Holbrook police said.
