Oxycodone Scheme Sentence: CT Man Headed To Jail A 46-year-old Connecticut man who admitted to running an oxycodone scheme that used stolen prescription pads will spend the next year behind bars, officials said.  Hartford County resident Jayson Kemp, of East Windsor, was sentenced on Tuesday, May 9, to a year and a day in prison and three years of probation in the case, the US Attorney for Connecticut said.  Kemp admitted to using stolen prescription pad pages from multiple medical providers to get oxycodone, the prosecutor said. Fake Adderalls: Central Mass Couple Charged With Running Drug Ring, Feds Say A Leominster man and woman were arrested and charged Tuesday, May 9, with running a massive fake Adderall pill scheme, authorities said.  Chanhda Onesyvieng, 48, and Bonnie Bounkong Namsaly, 45, were charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute controlled substances, the US Attorney for Massachusetts said.  According to the charging documents, police said they were tipped off to the alleged fake pill scheme in April. Police ID Woman Hit, Killed Walking On North Andover Sidewalk Authorities released the name of the 47-year-old woman who was killed when she was hit by a car while walking on a North Andover sidewalk on Sunday, May 7.  Angela Desmond of North Andover was struck while walking along Massachusetts Avenue near Route 125 by a Honda Civic around 1:30 p.m., the Essex County District Attorney said Tuesday.  Authorities rushed her to Lawrence General Hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead.  Police have not released the driver's name because they have not been charged with anything at this time.

Western Mass Officer Suspended After Assault Charges Announced: Post The agency responsible for state police standards announced it had suspended a Springfield officer after he was charged with assault, authorities said.  Jeffrey Alicea was among four officers suspended on Thursday, May 4, by the Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission. Road Rage: Man Pulled Gun During Central Mass Traffic Dispute, Police Say A traffic dispute turned ugly in Worcester County when police said a man pulled a gun and pointed it at his rival on Friday, May 5, authorities said.  Ronald Wing of Marlborough was charged with assault by means of a dangerous weapon following the alleged incident in Southborough, police said.  Investigators said Wing pulled out a Sig Sauer .177 Air Pistol and pointed it at a man after they got into an argument on Route 9 around 8 p.m. The driver called Southborough police immediately, and officers tracked down Wing later, authorities said.

Woman Brought Loaded Gun Into Western Mass Court: Police A 20-year-old woman was arrested on Friday, May 5, after police said she tried to bring a loaded pistol into the Hampden County Hall of Justice.  Cristal Matos of Wilbraham was arrested after court officers noticed the gun during an X-ray scan of her bag around 11:30 a.m., Springfield police said. It's unclear why she was at the court.  Matos is charged with carrying a firearm without a license, carrying a loaded weapon without a license, and possession of a high-capacity magazine, police said.
