House Fire: Minor Injuries In Early Morning Holyoke Blaze Firefighters in Hamden County were quick to the scene of an early morning house fire after a 911.  Holyoke firefighters arrived at the 160 Pine Street home just before 5 a.m. in the driving snow when a neighbor noticed the house next door was on fire, authorities said. Despite crews best efforts the high winds pushed the flames onto a nearby home.  Crews were able to get the blaze under control after a short period and rescued a resident of the first home who had minor smoke inhalation injuries, authorities said. They were taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Killing In Easthampton: Woman Charged With Stabbing 23-Year-Old Man To Death A 23-year-old woman was arrested on Tuesday, March 14, and charged with killing a man overnight, authorities said.  Easthampton police were called to the Culdaff Street home just after 3 a.m., where they found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds, the Northwestern District Attorney's Office said. Murder: Police Charge Chicopee Man In Springfield Shooting, Police Say Springfield police have charged a 25-year-old Chicopee man in a fatal shooting earlier this month.  Jordan Cabrera is charged with murder in the Friday, March 10 killing on Cadwell Drive, Springfield police said.  Police arrived at the scene around 7 p.m. to find a man bleeding from a gunshot wound.
