Car Crashes Into Springfield Home, Driver Taken To Hospital: Officials A driver was hospitalized late Thursday night, Jan. 5, after crashing into a home in Springfield, fire officials said. Snow, Rain May Make Roads Dangerous In Central, Western Mass: NWS The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for most of Massachusetts for Friday, Jan. 6, as freezing rain overnight is expected to turn to snow by mid-morning, which could make driving conditions dicey.
