27-Year-Old Worcester Man Killed In Hit-Run From Multiple Vehicles: Police A 27-year-old man died over the weekend, authorities said, after cars struck him several times while he was walking along Route 290 in Worcester. The man was near Exit 20 around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13, when a vehicle, possibly a tractor-trailer crashed into him and kept driving, Massachusetts State Police said. Several other vehicles ran over his body after that and did not stop. Though it's unclear if those drivers knew they had hit a person or if they believed it was an animal, officials said. Man Shot To Death In Boston's South End, Police Searching For Shooter A man was shot and killed Saturday, Aug. 13, in Boston, and police are asking anyone who may have information bout the case to contact investigators. Police found the man bleeding on the ground around 10 p.m. in the area of 58 West Dedham Street in South End. Responders rushed him to the hospital, where he later died, police said. Xavier Barkon, 19, was found bleeding from a bullet wound when police arrived just after 8:30 p.m. in the 4 Oak Hill area, officials said. Police ID Boston Man Accused Of Raping Woman At MBTA Station, Ask For Tips Transit Police said they believe they know the man who raped a woman earlier this month at the Tuft's Medical Station, but they have not been able to find him.
