Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Drunk, Unlicensed Driver Crashes Into House In Hudson Valley, Police Say An unlicensed man driving drunk is facing a host of charges after crashing into a Hudson Valley home, as an occupant of the residence was able to escape injury, police say. The Rockland County incident happened around 12:50 a.m. Friday, March 31 in New City, at the residence at 9 Carnaby Ct. 10 Displaced After Condo Fire Breaks Out In Norwalk Nearly a dozen residents were displaced after a condominium fire in Fairfield County. The blaze broke out around 11:45 a.m. Sunday, April 2 in Norwalk at the 30-unit facility in Norwalk at 296 Main Ave. Unit 28 and 27 were involved and were showing fire from both balconies from responders arrived, Norwalk Fire Department Deputy Chief Steve Shay said. 47-Year-Old Critically Injured In Crash At Valley Stream Intersection An investigation is underway after one person was critically injured in a crash at a Long Island intersection. It happened around 8:20 a.m. Sunday, April 2 in Valley Stream. Massive Blaze Breaks Out At Ambulance Company In Freeport Firefighters from dozens of departments spent hours battling a massive blaze at an ambulance company on Long Island. The blaze broke out at around 11:10 a.m. Saturday, April 1 in Freeport at the EAS Ambulance Company located at 30 Commercial St. When responders arrived, the building was fully engulfed and had partially collapsed, according to Nassau County Police.
