Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Body Of 41-Year-Old Pulled From River In Yonkers Updated story - New Details: ID Released Of 41-Year-Old Pulled From River In Westchester County An investigation is underway after the body of a man was found in Westchester County. The 41-year-old victim was removed from the Saw Mill River at the Chicken Island Daylighting Park in Yonkers on Sunday, Oct. 23, according to authorities. Briarcliff Native Who Was All-America Collegiate Athlete Dies At Age 48 A Northern Westchester native who was a standout athlete in both high school and college has died. Alison Relyea, who grew up in Briarcliff and graduated in 1992 from the Hackley School in Tarrytown, was 48 years old, according to her obituary. She died on Wednesday, Oct. 12 at Evelyn’s House hospice facility in Creve Coeur, Missouri. For the past 11 years, she lived in Chesterfield, Missouri, her obituary said. Duo Nabbed For Hempstead Store Robbery, With Third Suspect At Large Two suspects have been apprehended and a third is at large after a robbery at a Long Island store. The incident happened around 6:45 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21 in Hempstead. That's when Nassau County Police say three subjects entered the Cricket Wireless Store located at 33 Main Street and stole multiple cell phones valued at approximately $9,000 before leaving the store and fleeing in an unknown direction. Deer Collisions On Connecticut Roadways Expected To 'Increase By Leaps, Bounds,' AAA Warns With fall in full swing and days becoming shorter, deer collisions on Connecticut roadways "increase by leaps and bounds," warns AAA Northeast. Suspect At Large After Punching, Stealing Cash From Victim In Hampton Bays A suspect is at large after allegedly punching and then stealing cash from a victim on Long Island overnight. The incident happened around 2:15 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22 in Hampton Bays.
