Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Sewer Issue Causes Closure Of High School In Hudson Valley A sewer issue has caused the closure of a high school in the Hudson Valley on Wednesday, Sept. 7. In Rockland County, the issue with the main sewer discharge line at Nanuet High School surfaced on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 6, the Nanuet Union Free School District announced. As a result, an emergency closing for Nanuet HS is in effect for Wednesday. Bergen County Man Victim Of Double Fatal Wrong-Way NY Crash: Police A Bergen County man was identified by authorities as one of the two people killed in a wrong-way, head-on crash overnight in New York. George Gonzalez, 68, of Dumont, was heading north in the southbound lanes of I-87 in a 2017 Toyota RAV4, when he drove into a 2022 Nissan Altima around 1 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6 in Tuxedo, New York State Police said. Gonzalez's car became engulfed in flames. The Altima driver was identified as Yehuda Weinstock, 67, of Chester, NY. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene. Neither vehicle had any passengers. IDs Released For 2 Killed In Wrong-Way, Head-On Crash In Hudson Valley Police have identified two people killed in a wrong-way, head-on crash in the Hudson Valley overnight. It happened around 1 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6 in Orange County on I-87 in the town of Tuxedo. A preliminary investigation by New York State Police has determined a passenger vehicle was driving northbound in the southbound lanes between Exit 16 (Harriman) and Exit 15A (Sloatsburg), when it struck another passenger vehicle head-on. Westchester Man Accused Of Exposing Himself To Worker At Red Roof Inn A Westchester County man has been accused of exposing himself to an employee at a hotel on Long Island. Manorville Man Seriously Injured After SUV Crashes Into Tree In Bellport Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that left a Long Island man seriously injured. It happened in Bellport at around 11:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 4.
