Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

State Trooper In Hudson Valley Accused Of Sexually Abusing Victim 'Known To Him,' Police Say A state trooper is facing multiple charges after police say he sexually abused a victim known to him. Orange County resident Matthew A. Stivala, age 32, of the Town of Monroe, was arrested on Saturday, July 23, and charged with: Two counts of first-degree sexual abuse (a Class D felony), First-degree criminal sex act (a Class B felony), Forcible touching (misdemeanor). ID Released For 21-Year-Old Found Fatally Shot In Uniondale Park The identity has been released of a 21-year-old man who was found fatally shot in a park on Long Island. Officers in Uniondale responded to a report of a victim with a gunshot wound at Uniondale Avenue Park at about 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19, the Nassau County Police Department reported. On Thursday, July 21, police identified the victim as Walter Ochoa Jr., age 21, of Uniondale. Storms Knock Out Power To Thousands In Connecticut A severe round of storms knocked out power to thousands of Connecticut residents on Thursday afternoon, July 21. At 5 p.m., Eversource is reporting 2,245 without power statewide. The most outages are in Plymouth (473) and Watertown (246) in Litchfield County, Wolcott (255) in New Haven County, and Wethersfield (238), and Southington (203) in Hartford County, United Illuminating is reporting one outage in its coverage area.
