Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

24-Year-Old Killed In Single-Vehicle I-95 Crash In Massachusetts Police are investigating an early-morning, single-vehicle crash that left a man dead on a stretch of I-95 in Massachusetts. It happened around 4:45 a.m. Sunday, June 12 at the 11.9 mile marker on the southbound side in Foxboro, Massachusetts State Police said. The driver, a 24-year-old from North Providence, Rhode Island, was declared dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released. The left and middle lanes were closed for two-and-a-half hours. Man Kills Father At Long Island Home, Police Say A Long Island man has been apprehended after police say he killed his father in their home.  Suffolk County Police say Third Precinct officers responded to 36 Phillips Walk in West Babylon after a woman called 911 at approximately 12:55 p.m. Friday, June 10 and stated her son strangled her husband.  Officers responded and found Robert Taylor, age 64, dead. Man Dies After Falling Into Water In Merrick A man died after falling into the water on Long Island. Officers responded to 1944 Bayberry Ave. in Merrick for a report of a man who fell into the water, Nassau County Police said.  Upon arrival, officers, with the assistance of several civilians, located the victim and pulled him onto the dock where he was pronounced dead by a Merrick Fire Department Emergency Medical Technician, said police.
