Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Two-Alarm Fire Breaks Out At Building In Stamford A two-alarm fire broke out overnight at a building in Fairfield County. Responders in Stamford raced to the scene after receiving calls of a structure fire at 37 Manhattan St. at around 6:10 p.m. Saturday, April 30, said Captain Philip Hayes of the Stamford Fire Department. Woman Seriously Injured In Crash On Long Island Expressway Police are investigating an overnight Long Island Expressway crash that left a woman seriously injured. It happened just before 7 p.m. Sunday, April 30 in Islandia. A man was riding a 2021 Yamaha Motorcycle on the westbound LIE near Old Nichols Road, when his passenger fell off the rear of the motorcycle, Suffolk County Police said. JCPenney Offers Billions To Buy Rival Kohl's, Report Says The owners of JCPenney are bidding to acquire rival Kohl’s, according to a new report. Shopping-mall owners Simon Property and Brookfield Asset Management have offered around $8.6 billion for Kohl's stores, the New York Post reports. Three Killed In Connecticut Crash Three people were killed in a morning crash in Connecticut. It happened around 6:30 a.m. in New Haven County in Branford on Thursday, April 28 on Hosley Avenue. Woman Killed In Officer-Involved Shooting In Hudson Valley Authorities are investigating an officer-involved shooting that left a woman dead in the Hudson Valley. ID Released For Man Shot, Killed Outside Home On Residential Long Island Roadway Police have identified a man who was shot and killed in broad daylight outside a home in a residential Long Island neighborhood. It happened around 8:50 a.m. Friday, April 29 in Ronkonkoma. That's when Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct officers responded to a 911 call of shots fired in front of 385 Wildwood Road.
