Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Suspect At Large After Stabbing At Long Island Shopping Center A suspect is at large after a stabbing at a Long Island shopping center. A 42-year-old man reported being in the parking lot in Patchogue, located at 272 East Main St., when he was stabbed in the chest at approximately 3:20 a.m. Sunday, April 17, Suffolk County Police said. The man drove to a relative’s home on Brook Street in Patchogue and police were called, the SCPD said. He was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious injuries. Here's Timing For Massive Nor'easter Bringing Damaging Winds That Could Knock Out Power A quick-moving, multi-faceted Nor'easter will bring heavy rain, possible flooding, damaging winds that could knock out power, with some areas farther north seeing significant snowfall. It happened at around 6 p.m. Saturday, April 16 in North Patchogue.
