Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

The closure, announced around 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, was for all westbound lanes near Exit 63 in Holtsville in Suffolk County. The on-ramp to the LIE at North Ocean Avenue was also shut down. A 17-year-old male was driving a 2018 Infinity Q50 eastbound on Pine Aire Drive near Taylor Avenue, when he lost control of the vehicle, Suffolk Couny Police said. ID Released For Woman Killed In Long Island Apartment Fire The identity has been released of a woman who was killed in a Long Island apartment fire. The blaze broke out in Patchogue at around 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24 on 75 Rider Ave. When the fire was extinguished by Patchogue Fire Department members, an adult woman was found dead in the residence, Suffolk County Police said.
