Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Suspect Nabbed After Robbery At Long Island Lowe's A suspect has been apprehended after a robbery at a Long Island Lowe's home improvement store. On Friday, Nov. 26, at approximately 5 a.m., a manager from the Riverhead Lowe's location on Old Country Road contacted Riverhead Police to advise that upon reporting for work, he found the glass broken out in two of the front doors. Marked patrol units responded and conducted a search of the interior of the store, however, nothing inside appeared out of order, said Riverhead Police. Man Shot, Killed Outside His Long Island Home Police are investigating a shooting that killed a Long Island man overnight. The man was shot outside his Moriches residence on Friday, Nov. 26, at about 1 a.m. The victim, Tyrell Durham, age 37, who resided at Tall Oaks Circle, was transported to Long Island Community Hospital in East Patchogue where he was pronounced dead, Suffolk County Police said. Detectives are asking anyone with information on the shooting to call the SCPD Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. Recall Issued For Antiperspirant Products Due To Cancer-Causing Chemical Antiperspirant products are being recalled because of a cancer-causing chemical. Old Spice says it is voluntarily recalling the aerosol spray products that were sold in stores nationwide and online due to the presence of the chemical compound benzene in some products. Suspect Nabbed In Stabbing At Parking Lot Of Long Island Gas Station A suspect has been apprehended after an overnight stabbing on Long Island. It happened around 8:15 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 25 in Wyandanch.
