Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Man, Woman Seriously Injured In Two-Vehicle Long Island Crash An investigation is underway after a two-vehicle crash that seriously injured a man and a woman overnight on Long Island. It happened around 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, June 1 in Holtsville. Thomas Monahan, age 32, of Coram, was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Impala northbound on North Ocean Avenue when the vehicle collided with a 2018 Nissan Rogue traveling westbound on Jamaica Avenue, Suffolk County Police said. Ana Morales-Linares, age 15, was last seen leaving her residence in Hicksville at around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, Nassau County Police said. Local Woman Driving Drunk Charged After Fatal Hit-Run Long Island Crash, Police Say A woman who was driving drunk is facing multiple charges after a fatal hit-and-run crash on Long Island, police said. The crash happened just before 1:45 a.m. Sunday, May 30 in Hempstead.
