Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Covid-19: First Person With South African Variant Being Treated In NY A Connecticut resident is being treated in New York City after being diagnosed with the South African strain of COVID-19. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont made the announcement on Monday afternoon, Feb. 15, noting the person was transferred from Connecticut to a hospital in New York after the diagnosis. Alert Issued For Missing Long Island Man A Long Island man has gone missing and police are asking the public's help in locating him. Gerald White, age 76, who suffers from a cognitive disorder, was last seen on Ash Place in Great Neck on Sunday, Feb. 14 at 4:45 p.m., Nassau County Police said. White is 5-foot-11, 160 pounds, with blue eyes and straight gray hair. He was wearing a blue Fire Department jacket. Listeria Outbreak Linked To Some Types Of Fresh, Soft Cheeses, CDC Says The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) has issued an alert due to a listeria outbreak linked to certain types of fresh, soft cheeses.
