Feel Like Shakin' It? Bogota Boogies Down
BOGOTA, N.J. -- Warm up for your New Year's Eve celebration at a pre-New Year's Eve dance party Friday, Dec. 30 in Bogota.
This Just Dance 2016 event is a fundraiser to benefit the borough's beautification projects.
The event, with DJ and dancing, hors d'oeuvres and drinks, will be at the VFW hall in Bogota.
Proceeds will help Bogota Beautiful, a community organization with a vision to mobilize people, businesses, and local groups to work together on improvement and beautification projects.

Try Cookies, Hot Cider At Pound Ridge Church's Holiday Gathering
POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- No time bake holiday cookies? No problem.The women of Pound Ridge Community Church have it covered.
An array of homemade cookies, sold by the pound, will be available Saturday, Dec. 3 at the church Cookie Walk. In addition, there will be pies, cheesecakes, breads and foods-to-go. Live wreaths will also be for sale.
Visitors will be offered hot cider to enjoy browsing and a homemade quilt will be raffled off.
The event is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the church, 3 Pound Ridge Rd., at the intersection of Routes 137/132 in Pound Ridge.

Bridgeport Man Found Guilty Of Killing, Robbing Drug Dealer In 2013
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A Bridgeport resident found guilty by a jury Wednesday of a 2013 robbery and murder of a drug dealer could be imprisoned for 85 years, according to the Connecticut Post.
Dovante "Ritz" Gray-Brown, 25, was convicted of felony murder, first-degree robbery and carrying a pistol without a permit, the Connecticut Post reported.
The victim, 23-year-old Dwayne Gardner of Bridgeport, was discovered shot and killed Dec. 16, 2013 in his vehicle, according to the Connecticut Post.
