Car Crashes Down Embankment In Yorktown YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A car drove down an embankment Monday morning, requiring police and fire personnel to conduct a rope rescue of an unconscious victim, according to the Yorktown Heights Volunteer Fire Department.Crews responding at 7:55 a.m. called for the rope assistance. The car had gone down 100 feet on a cliff, said the the post on Facebook.  The victim was brought up the cliff into an awaiting ambulance.
