Stamford Diner Takes Over City Limits Space STAMFORD, Conn. -- After nearly 15 years of service, the iconic City Limits Diner in Stamford, previously owned by the Livanos Restaurant Group, has changed hands and is now The Stamford Diner. Dobbs Ferry Restaurateur Opens New Stamford Diner DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. -- Ari Thanos wants to bring classic diner food back to Stamford. And so, the Dobbs Ferry resident has taken over the space formerly occupied by City Limits in Stamford (just off I-95) and opened The Stamford Diner.
