Good Food Chef Accepts DVlicious Award For 'Best Soup In Westchester' BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. -- Good Food Owner John Chambal stopped his cooking momentarily to accept his DVlicious award for "Best Soup in Westchester County." The self-taught chef posed alongside his son, Asa, and said he was humbled and appreciative of all the votes Westchesterites cast for him. Rochelle Park Family Commits To Giving Year-Round ROCHELLE PARK, N.J. -- A tradition that began during a couple's honeymoon has turned into a lifelong quest to give back. The story begins in 2011, when Robyn and Trevor Crane were biking in Panama Dec. 24 and saw a group of kids playing near their path. They parked their bikes and walked through the trees to find two huts and lots of children. Beacon Bread Receives DVlicious Certificate For Best Soup In Dutchess BEACON, N.Y. -- Talk about "soup-er." The folks at Beacon Bread in Beacon -- Partner Ralph Clemente and Chef Stephen Morris -- were on hand to accept the DVlicious "Best Soup in Dutchess County" award. Owner Kamel Jamal, who is busy prepping for yet another restaurant in Beacon -- he already has two in town plus one in Cold Spring --said he and his staff are proud to win this honor and thank all of the Dutchess residents who voted.
