Get Your Green On At Putnam's Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade Ready to get those Irish eyes smiling and those feet stepping? The annual Northern Westchester and Putnam St. Patrick’s Day Parade -- the third largest in New York State -- is Sunday, March 13 at 2 p.m. It takes place on Rt. 6 in Mahopac by the Firehouse. Every year the line of marchers continues to grow with bands and groups coming from as far away as Ireland. In the past, according to the Emerald Association of Putnam County website, there were over 100 groups comprising more than 2,500 marchers, including 18 bands and close to 6,000 spectators.
