Stamford Driver Charged In Ridgefield Car Chase RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- A Stamford man has been charged in Sunday afternoon’s high-speed car chase on Ridgefield’s Main Street that damaged six cars as the suspect's vehicle crashed into them trying to escape police, the New Canaan Advertiser reported. The chase ended with the suspect trying to run away after leaving the SUV he was driving at Branchville Road and Main Street, according to the Advertiser.
