Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Pedestrian Struck, Airlifted After Central Jersey Crash First responders were called to a report of a pedestrian struck late Tuesday, Monmouth County authorities said. An unidentified woman in her 30's was hit and unresponsive near Route 34 and Cambridge Drive in Aberdeen, initial reports said.  A NorthStar medevac helicopter airlifted the victim from Lloyd Road School shortly after 8 p.m., according to an unconfirmed report.  The woman suffered severe head trauma and was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, reports said.  This is a developing news story.
