Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Police Officer Nicholas Volpe spotted the car, which was fully engulfed in flames, on Manassa Road about 7:45 p.m. on Saturday, Howell police said. State Capital Reports 9 People Shot There were at least nine people shot over the weekend in Trenton, authorities said. None of the shootings was fatal, according to a spokeswoman for the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office.  On Sunday night, four people were wounded by gunfire at the intersection of Stuyvesant and Hoffman avenues. Motorist Killed In Mercer County Crash Authorities are investigating a crash in which one person was killed in Mercer County. At about 5:40 p.m. on Sunday, East Windsor police were called on a report of a collision near Route 133 and 1 Mile Road.
