Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

NJ Infant Tests Positive For Coronavirus A 1-month-old boy in Atlantic County has tested positive for the coronavirus, according to media reports. The boy is the youngest of the more than 148,000 in the state to have been infected by COVID-19. Atlantic County officials didn’t disclose where the boy lives, according to NJ.com. Ocean County Brush Fire Ravages 100 Acres Whiting Fire Company and the New Jersey Forest Fire Service contained a nearly 100-acre brush fire on Sunday near Harry Wright Lake in Manchester, authorities said. The fire had roared through about 20 acres when it was discovered, but burned another 80 acres before it was extinguished, according to a Facebook post from the fire company. Forked River Fire Department assisted.
