Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Nearly $300 million dollars in unclaimed funds are owed to Westchester County residents, businesses and organizations.  More than $278 million of the state's $15 billion in unclaimed funds has been returned to New Yorkers this year, according to  New York Comptroller Thomas P. Joyce Ellen Romanchuk, 50, Formerly Of Hawthorne Joyce Ellen Romanchuk, 50, formerly of Hawthorne, passed away suddenly on June 30.  She was born on Jan. 25, 1968, in White Plains to Max Romanchuk and Norma Kersten. She was survived by her sister, Nancy Romanchuk; and her two sons, Zachary Lattanzio and Frank Lattanzio Jr. whom she loved dearly.  She was a loving aunt to Jos'e DelValle and Noah Romanchuk.  She was a graduate of Westlake High School in Thornwood.  As a computer systems analyst, she was an outstanding employee of Verizon and the March of Dimes.  She enjoyed the beach and all summer activities.  Friends said she lived …
