East Orange Native, Ex-Giant Jabrill Peppers Arrested On Assault Charges: Reports
New England Patriots safety and New Jersey native Jabrill Peppers was arrested over the weekend, NBC10 reports.
Citing Braintree, MA, police, NBC says police responded to a disturbance call at a local home Saturday morning, Oct. 5 where the 29-year-old East Orange, NJ native had allegedly been involved in an altercation.
He will apparently be charged with assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, strangulation, and possession of cocaine, NBC says.

A Paterson shootout left two men wounded, one with critical injuries, late Saturday, Oct. 5 , authorities said.
The 33-year-old man and 28-year-old man, both of Paterson, exchanged gunfire near Straight Avenue and Park Place around 11:15 p.m., Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In- Charge Isa Abbassi said.

A man wanted for assault in New Jersey was found with methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia while walking in Pennsylvania, police said.
Richard Parsons, who records show had an active warrant out of Greenwich Township, NJ (unclear if Warren County or Cumberland County), flagged down police for a ride Easton Road in Lower Saucon, PA around 3:15 a.m. on Sept. 19, authorities said.
Police learned Parsons, of Perkasie, had been wanted and then found him to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, police in Lower Saucon said.

Arrest Made In Crash That Killed Navy Vet From Vineland, Allen Miller Jr., 45
A 23-year-old man has been charged in a crash that killed a U.S. Navy veteran last month in Salem County, authorities said.
Christopher Poore, of Bridgeton, was heading east on Route 40 when he struck Allen Miller Jr., 45, near milepost 20.5 in Pittsgrove around 3 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 18, New Jersey State Police said. Poore then fled the scene.
