Former Montclair Chef Competes On New Season Of 'Hell's Kitchen'
Two New Jersey chefs, including one who works in Philadelphia, are on a brand-new season of "Hell's Kitchen" with Gordon Ramsay.
Joe Tartamella, 35, the executive chef at Felina Restaurants in Ridgewood, Jersey City, and Summit, and Kyle Timpson, 30, of Dennis Township (Cape May County) are among the 18 contestants on a brand-new season of the hit FOX cooking competition.
Season 23, titled"Head Chefs Only," debuted on Thursday, Sept. 26.

Bloomingdale Ex-Con's Stash Of Assault Rifles, High-Capacity Ammo Seized, Police Say
A 50-year-old New Jersey ex-convict is facing multiple charges after police responding to a call for service found assault rifles, high-capacity magazines, and more stashed in safes in the home, authorities said.
Bloomingdale officers had responded to a local home on Sept. 19, when they discovered two safes, " which officers reasonably believed contained illegal firearms," the department said in a news release.
In the following days, the Detective Bureau conducted a follow-up investigation and executed two search warrants on the safes, owned by Omar Dudley, police said.

A 58-year-old former New Jersey Department of Children and Family Services Division of Child Protection and Permanency case worker has been indicted for sexually abusing two children, authorities said.
Trent L. Collier, formerly of Newark and currently of Savannah, GA, has been charged in a seven-count indictment with sexual assault, aggravated criminal sexual contact, attempted aggravated sexual assault, and official misconduct, based on Collier’s alleged sexually abusive conduct toward the two minor victims, Attorney General Matthew J. A 34-year-old Hudson County man was jailed after police said he walked into a local police station and called 9-1-1 over a scented candle, and continued with similar behavior until he was jailed later that day, police said.
Alfredo Gonzalez, of Guttenberg, waltzed into the police station on Wednesday, Oct. 2 to speak with officials from the public safety office, Guttenberg police said. While inside, Gonzalez expressed concern over the lighting of a scented candle, police said.
