Woman In Her 20s Struck By Car, Run Over By Tractor Trailer On Route 17, Police Say A woman in her 20s died after being struck by a car then run over by a tractor-trailer on Route 17 overnight in Paramus, authorities said. Driver Crawls Out Of Overturned Car Following Norwood Crash: Police A 54-year-old Hillsdale resident was largely unscathed after his vehicle overturned in Norwood on Thursday, Sept. 19, police said. The driver was heading south on Summit Street when the vehicle struck a parked car and overturned around 8:10 p.m., Norwood Police Chief Christian Federici said. Norwood EMS responded to the scene and assessed the driver, who Federici said declined transport to a hospital. Bloomfield Woman, 26, Shot Dead In Newark Supermarket: Prosecutor A 26-year-old Bloomfield woman was shot and killed in a Newark supermarket on Wednesday, Sept. 18, authorities said. Nakiyyah Blue was found unresponsive having suffered gunshot wounds in the store on the 300 block of South 7th Street around 8:45 p.m., Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Four Officers Lauded In Seaside Park Water Rescues Four police officers are being recognized in three separate water rescues at unguarded New Jersey beaches. Small Plane Taxis Into Teterboro Airport Building: FAA A small plane experiencing possible brake failure taxied into a line service building at the main terminal of Teterboro Airport in New Jersey on Thursday night, Sept. 19, federal officials said. The FAA said that the Cessna Citation was carrying five people at the time of the 10 p.m. crash. A Port Authority PD spokesperson said no injuries were reported.
