Teen Girl Killed In Philadelphia A 13-year-old girl was shot and killed Wednesday, Sept. 18 in Philadelphia, authorities said. The black female was found on the 2800 block of N Bailey Street having suffered a gunshot wound to the right side of her chest just after 7:35 p.m., police said. She was taken by police to Temple University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead just after 8 p.m. The scene remains secured, and investigators are actively working on the case. NJ Transit Driver Assaulted By 7 Juveniles In Paterson A NJ Transit bus driver was hospitalized following an assault carried out by a group of juveniles in Paterson on Wednesday, Sept. 18, authorities said. An NJ Transit spokesperson said the attack happened just after 4:30 p.m. on the 171 line at the Broadway Bus Terminal. The operator was treated on scene by emergency medical personnel and taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The incident remains under investigation by NJT police.

Murder Suspect Arrested Days After Orange Park Killing, Prosecutor Says Police have arrested a 24-year-old man in the killing of a 28-year-old man in an Essex County park earlier this month. 10-Year-Old Charged With Making Threats Against Franklin Township District A 10-year-old child is facing charges after posting a social media video that authorities said posed a threat to a school in Gloucester County. Police were made aware of the video on Wednesday, Sept. 18, that they said threatened a school in Franklin Township. Oakland Man Punches Mom With Dementia, 94 In Head, Kicks Officer: Police A 61-year-old Bergen County man is in custody for assaulting two women, including his 94-year-old mother, police said.
