: South Jersey Man Charged With Strangling 73-Year-Old Wife, Prosecutor Says
A Burlington County man has been charged with murder in the death of his wife, authorities announced. Police were called to Gerard and Linda Slavin’s East Camden Avenue apartment in the Moorestowne Woods Apartment Homes on Sunday, May 19, where they found Linda Slavin, 73, dead in the couple’s bedroom around 3 p.m., Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. A 73-year-old teacher has been arrested and terminated from her position after police say she beat a 6-year-old student with a shoe, authorities in Spotsylvania County said. Daniel Choi says he got lucky. The Fairfax County resident had 50 plays in the May 1 Pick 5 nighttime drawing, each using the Fireball. Sheetz Robber Leads Foot Pursuit Before Arrested In Loudoun County, Police Say
An 18-year-old Leesburg man was arrested for assaulting and robbing an acquaintance at a Sheetz gas station last week, police said. Fidel Ordonez Molina assaulted the victim, took his phone and fled on foot around 5:20 p.m. Friday, May 17 at the Sheetz station on Edwards Ferry Road NE, Leesburg police said. Nearly three miles of delays were being reported in a crash on I-95 in Northern Virginia on Monday, May 20. The VDOT site shows the crash happened in the northbound lanes at milepost 161.4 in Occoquan at the Lorton border. As of 1:35 p.m., the north left shoulder, left outside lane, left center lane, right center lane, right outside lane, and right shoulder were alternating closures.

Pilot Killed In Small Plane Crash ID'd As Alexandria Resident, 66
A 66-year-old pilot was killed in a small plane crash in Culpeper County on Friday, May 17, authorities confirmed. The private aircraft went down on the 13000 block of Spillman Road in Culpeper County just before 2:45 p.m., Virginia State Police said. The pilot was identified as Grover McCall Jr., of Alexandria. The FAA and NTSB were notified. The incident remains under investigation.

Motorcyclist Injured In Sussex County Weekend Crash, Police Say
A motorcyclist suffered minor injuries in a Sussex County crash over the weekend, authorities said. The Harley Davidson operator was heading east on County Route 650 when they lost control, ran off the roadway and struck a tree around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. It happened in Montague Township at milepost 5, Lebron said. The driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to an area hospital. The crash remains under investigation.
