Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Woman Charged With Prostitution After Investigation Of Hicksville Spa A woman was arrested for prostitution during a raid at a Long Island spa, police announced. An undercover investigation at the premise in Hicksville located at 195 South Broadway, led to the arrest of Ru Shao, age 35, of Queens, Nassau County Police said. According to Narcotics Vice Squad Detectives, Shao performed unauthorized massages. The location was secured by the Town of Oyster Bay Building Department. Centereach Man Charged After East Patchogue Woman Shot, Killed In Coram A suspect is now in custody after the fatal shooting of a young woman on Long Island. The shooting happened around 1:25 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29 in Coram. Suffolk County Police responded to a 911 call reporting shots fired in the rear parking lot of 24 Middle Country Road. 13-Year-Old Amityville Boy Dies From Injuries After Being Struck By Car In Copiague A young boy has died from injuries after being struck by a car on a Long Island roadway. Jose Luis Calderon, of Amityville, was 13 years old. On Saturday, Oct. 29 at around 9:20 p.m., Calderon was riding a bicycle in Copiague in the right lane of northbound Dixon Avenue, near the intersection of Caboto Avenue, when he swerved into the northbound left lane and was struck by a 2008 Toyota Corolla, Suffolk County Police said.
