Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

The crash happened around 10:20 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5 in Central Islip. That's when a dark-colored sedan traveling westbound on Suffolk Avenue struck a man and woman at the intersection of Hawthorne Avenue and then fled the scene, Suffolk County Police said. Woman Charged After Setauket Massage Parlor Raid A woman was charged after a raid at a Long Island massage parlor overnight. In response to community and quality of life complaints, the detail was conducted on Wednesday, Oct. 5 at around 6 p.m. at Ru Yi Spa at 175 Route 25A, in Setauket, Suffolk County Police said. Route 117 In Chappaqua Reopens After Serious Crash This story has been updated. A stretch of a busy roadway in Northern Westchester has now reopened after a serious crash. The closure on Route 117 in Chappaqua was in both directions by Kathleen Lane near the Mount Kisco border, according to New Castle Police. The crash happened at around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5. The incident happened around 1:15 a.m. Monday, Oct. 3 in Lake Success. It happened around 12:55 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2 in West Hempstead.
