Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

New Bed Bath & Beyond Store Closures Include Stamford Location Struggling home goods retailer Bed Bath & Beyond has announced 56 new store closures that it says will be implemented by the end of the calendar year. The closure list includes two locations in Connecticut: Fairfield County: Ridgeway Shopping Center, 2275 Summer St., Stamford New London County: Waterford 850 Hartford Turnpike, Waterford The company is due to report its results for the second quarter later this month. Missing Levittown Man Found Update: A Long Island man who went missing has been located. Mark (Marcos) Ferman, age 84, of Levittown, had last been seen around 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, Nassau County Police said. On Friday afternoon, Sept. 16, police announced he's been located. Tropical Storm Fiona is about 525 miles east of the Leeward Islands on Thursday afternoon, Sept. 15, the National Hurricane Center said. ID Released For Man Struck, Killed By SUV Before It Crashed Into Building In Oceanside The identity has been released of a man who was fatally struck by an SUV which then crashed into a building on Long Island. The incident happened around 1:40 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10 in Oceanside. A 67-year-old man operating a 2018 Ford Edge, struck the male pedestrian before crashing into a building at 3618 Oceanside Rd., Nassau County Police said. Power Outage Causes Closure At High School In Hudson Valley A high school in the Hudson Valley is closed on Tuesday, Sept. 13 due to a power outage. In Orange County, Warwick Valley High School is closed for both in-person and remote learning due to the power outage caused by a blown transformer, the Warwick Valley Central School District announced. "The power outage is isolated to Warwick Valley High School," the district said in an announcement on its website.
