Griswold Crash Leaves Massachusetts Trucker Dead A 42-year-old Middlesex County, Massachusetts, man died after crashing his truck down an embankment along I-395 in Connecticut. Tim Murray, of Ashby, crashed his Freightliner truck in Griswold, New London County between Exit 24 and 28 around 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8 Construction had closed the southbound right-hand lane of the highway. As Murray merged into the left lane, his 2019 Freightliner hit a guardrail. Murray corrected the truck but not before striking another section of the guardrail.  The truck tumbled down an embankment. Authorities pronounced Murray dead at the scene.…

'Slap On The Wrist': Man Who Attacked Central Mass Officers On Body Camera Gets $140 Bail Police in Worcester County have released the body camera footage that shows what they say is a 41-year-old Webster man attacking officers during what should have been a routine arrest, authorities said.  Carlos Sulsona is charged with vandalizing property, assault and battery on a police officer, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, and resisting arrest, Webster police said. Man Struck, Killed On I-91 In Springfield ID'd As 54-Year-Old Police have identified the man who they say was hit by a car and was killed while crossing I-91 South in Springfield Thursday morning, Aug. 8.  Dominic Brad, 54, of Hartford, Connecticut, was hit by a Toyota Corolla just after 2 a.m. near mile marker 4.8, Springfield police said.  Officers shut down I-91 South for hours as they cleaned, cleared, and investigated the crash. The road re-opened to normal traffic around 6 p.m.  Officers are investigating the circumstances that led up to the crash.

Murry Jr. said he crashed his vehicle on Pettis Road in Wilton just after 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 6, the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office said. Mass. Man Dies After Suffering Medical Emergency On NH Hike With Family A 52-year-old Topsfield man died after suffering a medical emergency while hiking in New Hampshire with his family, authorities said.  State Wildlife officials received a 911 call around 2:14 about a hiker having a medical emergency between the north and south peaks of the Kinsman Ridge Trail in Easton, New Hampshire. 50-Year-Old Mansfield Man ID'd As Victim In Fatal Wrentham Crash Police have identified the 50-year-old man who was killed in a Route 1 crash in Wrentham late last week.  Jose Ocasio, of Mansfield, was critically wounded when he made an abrupt U-turn in his 2014 Mercedes CLA from the center lane and was T-boned by a pick-up truck in the left lane, police said.  Firefighters had to cut Ocasio out of his sedan so paramedics could rush him to Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, where doctors pronounced him dead.
