Serial Flashing Spree Lands Virginia Man Behind Bars A serial flasher is on the loose no more, Prince William County police said. James Alexander Castell, 32, of Woodbridge, was arrested on Sunday, June 25, after exposing himself to his third victim, county police said. Castell exposed himself and made inappropriate gestures on the 3400 block of Flint Hill Place, around 1:20 p.m. that day, the 36-year-old female victim told police. Castell fled on foot. Leesburg Stabbing Suspect Held Without Bond A Leesburg stabbing suspect is being held without bond, authorities announced. Joel Escobar-Barrientos, 29, has been charged with one count of malicious wounding in the 4 a.m. incident Saturday, June 24 on the 500 block of Crestwood Street SW, local police said. Escobar-Barrientos stabbed the victim in his 20s in the upper body during an argument, police said. The victim was transported by Loudoun County Combined Fire and Rescue System to a local hospital for treatment of serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Daniel Christopher Shannon, 33, of Fredericksburg, is being sought on a murder charge for shooting two people — leaving one injured and the other dead — during an argument in a Dumfries home on Friday, June 23, Prince William County police said. Gunman Sought For Murder In Northern VA Killing: Police A 39-year-old man is being sought for murder days after a Northern Virginia killing, police announced. Juan Zacarias, of Manassas, is believed to have killed Freddy Orozco Lopez, 34, of Manassas Park, on the 100 block of Polk Drive around 10:15 p.m. on Friday, June 23, Manassas Park police said. High-Risk Traffic Stop Yields Drugs From Car Thieves In Northern VA, Sheriff Says A game of grand theft auto ended in a drug bust for car thieves in Stafford County, authorities said.
