Boy Home Alone Struck By Car, Parents Charged In PWC Two parents are facing charges of child neglect after their 8-year-old son was struck by a car while home alone without proper care, police in Prince William County said. The boy was struck by a Toyota Rav4 on the 12600 block of Westridge Drive in Woodbridge around 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, May 2, Prince William County police said. The boy had been left home alone by his parents, Firoze Mohammed Hassan, 47, and Hassan Mohamed, 32, who were later charged with felony child neglect, police said. The Toyota driver was not charged, police said.

PWC Marina Team Member Dies Weeks After Crash, 30 A 30-year-old man has succumbed to his injuries he suffered in a crash last month in Prince William County. Eric Mathew Kuhn, of Winchester, was a passenger in a Ford F-150 that blew a red light and struck a car stopped at the light around 11:15 p.m. April 29, at the intersection of Old Bridge Drive and Colby Drive in Woodbridge, Prince William County police said. PWC Bank Robber Arrested: Police (Update) UPDATE: Jake Love was arrested on May 24 in Manassas. ORIGINAL: A 29-year-old man is being sought in a Prince William County bank robbery, authorities said. Jake Love is believed to have demanded money from the teller at the Bank of America on Donegan Drive in Manassas around 3:30 p.m. Monday, May 22, county police said. Love fled on foot and was not located, despite search efforts that involved a police K-9 and Fairfax County police helicopter, authorities said. Slain Virginia Landlord Was Loving Grandmother The 63-year-old Virginia woman landlord believed slain by her tenant over the weekend is being remembered as an adoring grandmother. Joyce Francine Gould's body was found on the kitchen floor of a home on Minor Hill Road in Manassas on 4:20 p.m. Sunday, May 21, Prince William County police said. Underage DUI Driver Crashes Jaguar After Grad Party In Stafford County An 18-year-old man repeat DUI offender crashed his Jaguar Sunday, May 21 after a graduation party in Stafford County, authorities said. The 6:30 a.m. incident on Jason Lane in Dumfries involved three vehicles and a mailbox, the a spokesperson for the county sheriff's office said.
