Aquiles Bernabe faces charges of forging a check, uttering a false check, identity fraud, possession of a skimming device, forged RRMV document, and possession of Class A and a Class B drug, Westborough police said. Distracted Driver Slams Into Tractor Trailer On Route 20 In Central Mass: Police A distracted driver somehow walked away from a crash Wednesday night, Dec. 20, after they smashed into the back of a disabled tractor-trailer truck on Route 20, Auburn police tweeted. High School Hoopster Punched Referee In Face During Game Against Cohasset: Police Police say a 17-year-old Boston basketball player punched a referee in the face during a game at Cohasset High School Wednesday night, Dec. 28. Cohasset High was facing off against South Boston's Excel High School when one of the Excel players attacked the ref around 6:45 p.m., Cohasset Police Chief William Quigley said in a news release. Springfield Community Applauds Good Samaritan Who Saved Officers' Lives Pedro Perez said he didn't think about what could happen to him when he jumped into a fight to help two police officers who were being attacked by a suspect. Lowell Man Shot, Killed His Wife On Christmas Before Killing Himself: DA A 60-year-old Lowell man killed his wife and then himself on Christmas, authorities confirmed on Tuesday, Dec. 27. Jose Santiago, 60, is believed to have shot his wife, Rosa Santiago, 55, at their home on Beacon Street just after 1:30 p.m., the Middlesex District Attorney said.
