Police ID 62-Year-Old Chicopee Man Killed In Hit-And-Run Crash: Report Authorities announced this week the identity of the man killed in a hit-and-run crash last month in Chicopee, a report said. Though, the person responsible for his death remains at large. Gary Turcotte, 62, of Chicopee was identified by investigators as the man killed in the Nov. 30 crash in the 950 block of Chicopee Street, MassLive reported. Police found Turcotte on the ground with serious wounds when they arrived at the scene around 5:30 p.m., Chicopee police said. Central Mass Man Charged With Sending 14-Year-Old Boy Nudes, Requesting Theirs: Feds Police arrested a 28-year-old Worcester man earlier this week after he allegedly sent nude photos of himself to an underage boy and asked if they could meet in person, authorities said. South Hadley Man Killed His Father, Attempted To Burn Down Home, DA Alleges Authorities said a 35-year-old South Hadley man killed his father earlier this year and tried to burn down the house they shared afterward. Craig R. Weise was charged on Wednesday, Dec. 7, with the murder of his father, David Weise Sr., and attempted arson, the Northwestern District Attorney's Office said. Boston Firefighter Accused Of Attacking Elderly Man Outside Faneuil Hall: Report A Boston firefighter is accused of attacking a 68-year-old man in front of his family outside of a Boston restaurant over the weekend, reports said. Man Seriously Injured After Crashing Into Tree In West Springfield: Police Paramedics rushed a man to the hospital after he wrecked his car in an early-morning, single-vehicle wreck in West Springfield, authorities said. The man was driving west on Route 20 when his car crossed the center lane and went off the road near Fife Lane before smashing into a tree around 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 7, West Springfield police said. First responders found the man unconscious but breathing before taking him to a nearby hospital for treatment.
