Driver Sought In Deadly Northeast Philly Hit-Run A 42-year-old man is dead following a hit-and-run in Rhawnhurst, Philadelphia police told Daily Voice.  The fatal crash happened on the 7600 block of Roosevelt Boulevard just after midnight on Monday, Sept. 18, authorities said.  The victim was found unresponsive in the northbound middle lane and pronounced dead at the scene, they added. Police did not report his name.  The suspect vehicle is described as a Toyota Prius between model years 2010 and 2015, based on parts recovered from the scene.  The crash remains under investigation, PPD said.

Double Murder: Teen, Adult Found Killed In Lehigh Valley Home State police are investigating after two people were found murdered in a North Catasauqua home.  Relatives made the grisly discovery just before 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 14 at 1106 Railroad Street, troopers said.  Inside, a 39-year-old woman and a 16-year-old girl were pronounced dead by Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek. Each died from "sharp force injuries" by manner of homicide, Lysek's office found.  Neither victim was named by authorities.  The investigation remains ongoing.

16-Year-Old Charged As Adult In Reading Killing, Police Say A teenage suspect is charged with a murder in Reading, city police say.  The unnamed 16-year-old is accused of killing Dominic Amsbaugh on Tuesday, Sept. 12, the department said.  Amsbaugh, 18, was killed on Amity Street near the 11th and Pike Playground, according to police.  Authorities "converged on" the suspect early on Friday, Sept. 15 on the 1100 bock of Scott Street and he surrendered without incident, they added.  He is charged with first- and third-degree murder as an adult, police said.
