Lehigh County Man Who Ran To Get Revolver During Dispute With Ex-GF Shot Dead By State Police A Lehigh County man was shot and killed by Pennsylvania State Police when he ran to his basement to get a revolver during a dispute with his ex-girlfriend, authorities said. Ambler Army Veteran, Justin Slater Dies, 37 Justin Slater of Montgomery County died on Feb. 16, 2021. He was 37 years old. Born in Huntingdon Valley, and a native to Ambler, Slater served with the U.S. Army in the 1st Infantry Division during the Iraq War, his obituary says. Fire Crews Tackle Chalfont Garage Blaze During Snowstorm Fire crews tackled a garage blaze in Chalfont Borough, Bucks County during Thursday's snowstorm, authorities said. The Chalfont Fire Company responded to the fire around 11:45 a.m. at 130 N. Main St, according to a Facebook post. Firefighters spent about two hours extinguishing the blaze.
