Police responded to a call of an injured worker around 9:09 a.m., at 10 Commerce Court, Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda said. The man was found inside the site’s elevator shaft and pronounced dead at 9:54 a.m., Miranda said. The incident remains under investigation. No further information was immediately available.
