Public House 46 To Close After Nearly 20 Years, Owner Explains Why
Public House 46 in Clifton will be closing for good after service on Sunday, April 6, owner Robby Corujo confirmed to Daily Voice.
The longtime Route 46 hotspot, located at 1081 US-46, has been a go-to for locals looking to catch a game, hear live music, or enjoy a classic burger and beer. But Corujo says it’s time for a new chapter.
“The reason why I’m closing is due to limited parking,” said Corujo, who also owns the Wayne Ale House, known for its massive pizzas. “I’m unable to run the bar/restaurant the way I would like.”

A 34-year-old woman from Poughkeepsie was killed in a crash early Saturday morning, April 5, in the Hudson Valley, state police said.
