Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Philadelphia Man, 41, Killed In New Jersey Turnpike Crash A 41-year-old Philadelphia driver was killed in a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike, authorities said. Abdenour Rekik was heading north in a Honda passenger car when he changed lanes and collided with a Ford transit van in the right lane around 5:20 a.m. Monday, April 10, New Jersey State Police Trooper Charles Marchan said.
