Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

3 Vehicles Collide On Garden State Parkway: State Police Three vehicles collided on the Garden State Parkway on Monday, March 6, in Union County, authorities said. The crash occurred at 1:33 p.m. on the parkway southbound near milepost 137.9 in Cranford, according to New Jersey State Police. Based on preliminary information, three vehicles were involved in a collision which caused one of the vehicles to overturn onto its side, State Police said.
