40 Vehicles Involved In 3 Crashes In 1 Mile Of I-81 In Lebanon County Over 40 vehicles were involved in a series of crashes involving multiple tractor-tractors and a bus on Interstate 81 on Thursday, July 28, authorities say. The three separate crashes happened between mile markers 86.4 and 87.5 in East Havoer Township around 4:30 p.m., according to the Pennsylvania state police. Among the 40 vehicles were a FedEx tractor-trailer and a passenger bus carrying 30 people, PennDOT officials say. Caleb Lane Flick, 37, of Lebanon and Harrisburg, was driving his 2014 Volkswagen Jetta at a high speed when he slammed into the back of a tractor-trailer that was stopped with its hazard lights on in the left lane of I-81 near mile marker 77 as the roadway ahead was closed for construction and traffic was being detoured at 11:39 p.m., according to a release by Pennsylvania state police.
